Kansas State University’s Computer Science Department proudly participated in the STEAM Night at Marlatt Elementary School on April 11th. The event was a resounding success as k-5 kids had a blast engaging with the latest technology. With the help of hashtagMakeyMakey, the banana piano was a hit, letting kids make music with the touch of a fruit. The play hashtagmouseRobot and hashtagKIBO robots also captivated young minds, sparking curiosity and excitement about the possibilities of computational thinking. Thanks Josh Weese for including Kansas State University in this event, and looks forward to more opportunities to inspire and educate the next generation of STEM enthusiasts.
